About Us
30 years ago Syl Bassaco had a dream and a vision to bring world-class dining and excellent Italian Cuisine to the city of London and it was from this dream La Casa Ristorante was birthed. And for the past 30years Syl's dream lived on and recently the dream has been passed on to another dreamer…Olu.
La Casa stands out as an icon in the downtown corridor of London Ontario often referred to as “Restaurant Row”. Its Iconic front signage stands out on the downtown streets and welcomes diners into its cozy and traditional ambiance. Olu has a refreshed vision for La Casa and is taking bold strides to revitalize the brand and take it into the future. The new emerging La Casa is a twist on traditional meets modern and contemporary, this is evident in the modernization of what was a very traditional restaurant space while still maintaining its matured charm. The transformation is also evident in the menu offerings. La Casa is serving up a fusion of global flavors with inspirations from its Italian heritage.
The new restaurant slogan showcases this with the catchphrase “A Fusion of Italian and Continental Flavors”. There is also an emphasis of introducing a more extensive wine selection and a very vibrant and exciting cocktail menu with a lot of modern twist on traditionally classic cocktails. London is a growing city, modernizing and diversifying every day. La Casa plans to be a big part of the new culture while celebrating its past heritage.
Olu’s vision for La Casa introduces a unique fusion of dining with entertainment and with the concept of After-hours @ La Casa we intend to bring world class after dinner entertainment to our discerning clientele thereby by enhancing the Dinner & Entertainment Experience and becoming the one stop destination for a night out in the city
Words from our guests
“Our experience here was fantastic. The restaurant was not too busy for a Friday night so we were able to get a table by the window overlooking the street. No less than three people, including the owner, came by to ask if we wanted the drapes drawn because of the setting sun. The attention to that little detail was indicative of the service we received throughout our dinner.”
